Over het evenement
While in the German and Austrian legs of the tour, Mozart's Serenata notturna forms the centrepiece, and Purcell provides contrast in Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The English composer, Henry Purcell experimented with the fantasia in the summer of 1680. Filled with fantasy and texture, the fantasias celebrate a musical style that was quickly fading.
